In the fourth quarter of 2023, the performance of the top 5 consumer finance applications on the Android platform in South America demonstrated a mix of growth and stability. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a clear picture of the trends in weekly downloads and active users for these leading apps.

Nubank: conta, cartão e mais observed a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 1.1M in early October before declining to around 563K by the end of December. The app's active users saw a slight decrease from about 38.6M at the start of the quarter to roughly 36.9M in the last week of December.

Nequi Colombia experienced significant variations in weekly downloads, with a notable peak of around 1.3M in early November. However, downloads dropped to approximately 290K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 3.5M throughout the quarter.

PicPay: Conta, Cartão e Pix maintained a relatively consistent download rate, with weekly downloads hovering between 293K and 414K. Active user numbers showed a slight decline, starting at about 11.5M in early October and ending at around 10.4M by late December.

Davivienda saw a dramatic increase in downloads, escalating from about 4.5K in late September to a peak of approximately 739K by mid-December. Active users also rose sharply, starting from about 5.7K and reaching over 1M by the end of the quarter.
